Aloha Friends,
We do a Vegas trip once a year and have been using this shuttle service for many years. We get a round trip ticket at the airport outside at their shuttle station. The lady inside that issues the tickets is super nice. She thanked us for our many years of using them.
What I don't like is that they took all of the seatbelts out of these shuttles and only kept in the drivers seatbelt and the front seat belt. I do not like this mainly because that means I have to trust that my driver is going to drive safely and still that doesn't mean anything. Las Vegas is a crowed place and the chance for an accident to happen is pretty high with the amount of traffic there. How can I stay safe in a vehicle without a seatbelt?
The ride downtown from the airport was extremely pleasant. Mary was our driver. She was so nice and actually drove the speed limit. She took the back roads so we wouldn't have to sit in any traffic. She was just a great driver. She deserves 5 STARS.
The way back to the airport was something different. It made my review go from a 5 star down to a 2 star and here's why...
Our driver picks us up at 5am and goes to the hotel next door at 5:03am. He gets out of the shuttle and the two ladies waiting for pick up come up the shuttle steps and ask if our shuttle driver is anywhere as they can't find him. We said "he got out, is he out there"? They went to the back of the shuttle and then went over to the casino door to have a cigarette. We are all wondering what the heck is going on? There are people inside the shuttle waiting to leave and the two he is suppose to pick up are having a smoke? At 5:15 the two ladies come into the shuttle and the driver is still not inside. We asked the ladies if he was outside and they said yes. He told them he couldn't take off until 5:15 which was his pick up time. We are all wondering why this company won't allow them to actually pick up and drive to the airport a few minutes early for their customers. We waiting inside that shuttle not knowing anything from 5:03am - 5:17am when he took off. We were never informed of any of this. We were just left in the shuttle to become upset that our driver was MIA
Our driver took off at 5:17 am. He hauled ASS to the airport. The lady in the front seat actually put on her seatbelt. Nobody else had a seatbelt but her. Her eyes were big at the site of his driving. She says, "someone's gotta live to tell this story" He was driving so fast that he actually had to slam on his brakes and swerve because there was going to be a pile up since everyone in front of us were coming to a stop. Scared us to death. I was holding onto the seat in front of me. He was a horrible driver and was a speed demon putting his customers lives at risk. He never smiled and looked miserable. He is not a happy driver.
I have included a picture of this guy. He needs to be spoken to. He's gonna kill a bus load or more of people if you keep him employed and allow him to drive the way he does.
We both put his tip back in our wallets. First time I've never tipped a driver. If you're going to continue to employ dangerous drivers, we will think twice about using your shuttle service in the future.
P.S. Give Mary a bonus, she is exactly the kind of driver you want to employ.
I booked this shuttle on accident.
After a five hour flight delay I went to the first counter I saw. I usually book Bell or Showtime. Bought roundtrip shuttle service with Airline Shuttle.
Both drivers were professional and polite. The departure driver arrived exactly as scheduled.
Quick and efficient, I'd use them again!
