They pick up my daughter from Orlando Florida airport and drove her 100 mikes to Ocala Florida for a horse event. They picked her back up on Sunday and were right on time to take her to the airport. Get driver and their service was awesome.
I highly recommend this service. It was very safe for my daughter.
I booked Acclaim Luxury Transportation for my recent trip to Los Angeles. I called about a week out from my trip and spent about 20 minutes on the phone with the guy on the other end. My pick up and drop off times were around 6:00am, so I understood that there was an extra charge for an early time. I even paid extra for the driver to meet me at baggage claim.
I was charged $151.00 RT from my house to MCO, including all extra charges for hours and pick up at baggage claim. The charge came through right away. I was advised that I would get an e-mail confirming the reservation about 24 hours prior to the pick up. I never received the e-mail, so I called the number and they couldn't find my reservation. The gentleman on the phone assisted me and assured me that someone would be picking me up. The man personally picked me up in the car and told me that he would look into what happened to my reservation.
I was frustrated because the funds had come out of my credit card. If I never called them, I would have probably have been late for my flight and then would have had to fight the credit card transaction.
On the return end from MCO, I received a phone call from the driver to meet him outside. I had specifically paid extra to have the driver meet me at baggage claim, but now I had to find him and walk to his car. I found the driver and when he went to pick up the luggage, I told him that he needed to be very careful with the smaller luggage - it's fragile and there is something breakable in there. He carefully placed it in the trunk of the car. Then, he went to toss the bigger luggage on top of the luggage that I just told him that was fragile. I had to be short with him to not do that because clearly he didn't listen to my request. The guy was rude the entire way home. I wasn't not feeling well when I got home, otherwise, I would have complained about it.
The only reason this review got 2 stars is because of the guy that fixed the problem after my reservation somehow vanished. However, three problems that I have with this company:
1) No one has ever followed up to explain what happened to my reservation in the first place. They were quick to take my money, but I was nowhere in the system.
2) I paid for services that I did not received (specifically, the extra charge for pick up in baggage)
3) The rudeness of the driver.
In the future, I would probably return to Star Transportation.
