I absolutely love these guys. Super tight cars, good drivers, good people, always on time and organized. Just totally professional. used a lot of limo services. One time a guy was high. Other times the cars have just been terrible or the dispatch guy too salty and annoying or gruff. This company has none of that nonsense. Cannot recommend them more highly.
My company used Bali Limo to transport about 10 VIPs around the city for Dreamforce '13. Their staff was helpful and friendly throughout the process and were able to work with us on some last minute changes to pick up times and locations with no issue. My company is very happy with the level of service we received from Bali Limo. Highly recommended.
We coordinated with Ashley from Bali to have several busses take our guests from two hotels in Palo Alto to our rehearsal dinner in Redwood City. The guests arrived at dinner on time (I think that one bus got a little lost on the way, but a guest's iPhone cleared things up), and then everyone made it back to their hotels safely after dinner, which was really the main goal of having busses in the first place. We were very happy with our decision to go with Bali Limo, which had been recommended to us by the sales manager at the Four Seasons. Thank you for arranging such a smooth evening of transportation.
A LITTLE HISTORY The first automobile limousine, built in 1902, was designed so the driver sat outside under a covered compartment. The word limousineis derived from the name of the French region Limousin, because this covered compartment physically resembled the raised hood of the cloak worn by the shepherds there. An alternate etymology has the chauffeur wearing a Limousin-style cloak in the open driver’s compartment, for protection from the weather. The first “stretch limousine” was created in Fort Smith, Arkansas, around 1928 by a coach company named Armbruster. These cars were primarily used to transport famous “big band” leaders, such as Glenn Miller and Benny Goodman, and their bands and equipment. These early stretch limousines were often called “big band buses”. In 1916, the Society of Automobile Engineers defined a limousine as: “a closed car seating three to five inside, with driver’s seat outside.” A berline was defined as “a limousine having the driver’s seat entirely inclosed”, while a brougham was defined as “a limousine with no roof over the driver’s seat.” In German-speaking countries, a Limousine is simply a sedan, while a lengthened-wheelbase car is called Stretch-Limousine.
