From the early days of British Motor Coach way back in 1987, we were determined to focus entirely on one very specific segment of the transportation business we felt we could best serve and build upon over the years.
OUR HISTORY
Our beginning included one beautiful white, right-hand-drive 1950 Bentley MK VI which immediately drew the attention of many in the wedding industry as a near perfect classic car for a most special, classy, and classic event-the joining of what we like to call "the happy couple."
Since that time, over twenty five years ago, British Motor Coach has built up to a fleet of eight classic, ageless, and distinctive English beauties to serve brides and grooms on their special days, supported by brand new Lincoln stretch limousines holding 8-10 of the wedding party/family; 14 passenger vans for out of town guests; and 6/7 passenger suv's and Lincoln Executive-L Town Cars to cover any number of other needs including airport transfers for the honeymoon trip, etc.
OUR FOUNDER
British Motor Coach (BMC) was founded in 1987 by our general manager, Roy DuBrow, with a vision of building a fleet of English motor cars for very special personal occasions, primarily weddings. plus anniversaries, birthdays, etc. Today BMC offers one of the country's largest fleets of chauffeured vintage Bentleys, Rolls-Royces and other exceptional classic British vehicles, plus new stretch limousines, Executive L Town Cars, Suvs, and 14 passenger executive vans.
Roy has been chairman of the board of the Limousine Association of Washington, affiliate representative for the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE), and is currently a member of the board of directors of the Puget Sound Limousine Association (PSLA). Prior to founding the company, Roy ran his own concert booking and promotion firm in San Francisco, MorningSun Productions, before moving to Seattle in 1980 to take over as production manager for Albatross Productions.
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Anthony Connors, director of operations, came to BMC in October 2001, starting as a part-time driver, and quickly moving up to full-time, plus assisting in office management. His outstanding track record in these endeavors earned Tony a promotion to operations manager and then to his current title of director.
Tony's many talents include terrific communications skills with both our veteran chauffeurs and clients, both personal and corporate; a mastery of computer skills and programs; natural mechanical skills and knowledge which come in handy in one way or another nearly every day; and a natural feel for the range of services we provide and to best fit those into the needs of our very particular clientele.
Previous to joining British Motor Coach, Tony ran a company that installed power generators in private homes and businesses. Roy and Tony met at a Mariners game that his father, who used to drive for the company, took him to as a guest of Roy's. Tony also plays drums and is working on web site development.
The Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud is an automobile produced by Rolls-Royce from April 1955 to March 1966. It was the core model of the Rolls-Royce range during that period. The Silver Cloud replaced the Silver Dawn and was, in turn, replaced by the Silver Shadow. The J. P. Blatchley design was a major change from the pre-war models and the highly derivative Silver Dawn. As part of a range rationalisation the Bentley S1 is very similar, apart from its radiator grill. This particular vehicle is our newest addition to the fleet and was acquired in November 2016. It has right-hand drive and red leather interior.

The Bentley MK VI is a full-size luxury car that was produced by Rolls-Royce between 1949 and 1955. It was the first Rolls-Royce car to be offered with a factory built body which it shared, along with its chassis, with the Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn until 1952 and then the Bentley R Type until production finished in 1955. British Motor started in 1987 with this car, so it is not only the most vintage car in out fleet, it is also the car that has been in out fleet the longest too.

The Vanden Plas Princess is a series of large luxury cars that were made by Austin and its subsidiary Vanden Plas from 1947 to 1968. The Princess is a larger limousine style vehicle. It features large, rear opening-style doors with a larger door opening with tons of leg room. It also has folding seats that accomodate 4-6 passengers. It also has sliding privacy glass between the chauffeur and passengers. This is our largest vintage car along with the Daimler DS420 Limousine.

The Daimler DS420 popularly known as the Daimler Limousine, is a large limousine produced by The Daimler Company Limited between 1968 and 1992. The vehicles are used extensively as official state cars in several countries, including by the British, Danish and Swedish royal houses. The car is also commonly used in the wedding and hotel trades. It is a Jaguar vehicle for the most part including Jaguar styling and the Jaguar XJ-6 Motor.

Among our most popular, afficianado tour is designed for those who want a broader experience and a visit to more (five-six) of the top wineries with a little less depth than the Connoisseur Tour.
