I initially was a little disappointed that I targeted this place to do an airboat tour after passing so many other fancier looking ones on the way up. I thought Yelp had let me down. Well I was stupid, in the end I'm really glad I chose Buffalo Tigers.
Our tour guide Fabian called plenty of alligators right up to the boat and dropped all kinds of knowledge about the area and wildlife. The boats aren't as big as other places, and they don't over pack them, so I imagine the views are better here. We stopped on the way back at one of the other larger spots to try and grab a small bite to eat, and they were crazy packed with nowhere to park. I'm so glad Yelp led me there. The only disappointment for me was that there was no food truck mentioned in a few other reviews.
We've been coming here for a few years and always leave pleased with their service and boat trip. Very peaceful out there in the Everglades and we love the change of scenery.
There are other tour places closer to us but we always decide to drive a little further because the air boats here are smaller (less people, faster ride).
