Had tried for several days to confirm a limo that was quoted online. They finally replied and said to call to finalize. I called but no one called back. Called again the next day and reached someone but they said they had to call me back the next morning at 7am to confirm everything. No one called. The following day (the day they were supposed to be picking a group up at the airport), they sent an email and said sorry, we're booked. Weak sauce.

It pains me to give this two star review because I had overall a great time at Cajun Encounters during my recent visit. My friends and I did the guided swamp tour, led by a fantastic captain whose name has escaped me. He was friendly, had a lot of jokes at his disposal and possessed extensive knowledge of the wildlife and swamp ecosystem.

I've toured with CE twice now. Excellent company to tour with, knowledgeable staff that kept the entire family entertained from beginning to end. I would highly recommend CE to families or even a group of adults looking for an authentic Cajun experience. Also, for the 21+ crowd, you can bring a cooler with your own refreshment to enjoy on the tour.

We were very pleased with this tour. We saw it a bunch of alligators (probably 12+), wild pigs, crawfish, and lots of local flora. Captain Jacob was extremely knowledgeable of the swamp and plants as well as the history of the area. I really do think Capt. Jacob was the reason we loved the tour so much.

I COULDNT EVEN BOOK. I wanted to rent the bus for an hour and they told me that there was a 4 hour minimum. Seriously? You might be better off booking over the phone with these people.
